As soon as you arrive, you will check into your hotel and meet a certified Agra guide. The late afternoon is dedicated to visiting the Taj Mahal during the sunset hours, which provides the best light conditions for taking clear travel photos.

Right after leaving the main gardens, your guide will take you through the massive red sandstone gates of the historic Agra Fort, where the Mughal emperors lived for generations. The evening is open for you to try authentic Mughlai food at a local restaurant or see the traditional markets known for handmade marble inlay crafts.

We start early in the morning to experience the Taj Mahal sunrise, watching the first light hit the white marble before returning to the hotel for a fresh breakfast. After checking out, you will begin the drive toward the desert state of Rajasthan.

Along the highway, your driver will pause at Fatehpur Sikri, a remarkably preserved ancient red stone ghost city built by the Mughals. By late afternoon, you will arrive in the Pink City (Jaipur). The final day covers the royal structures of Jaipur. In the morning, you will travel just outside the city center to see the massive Amber Fort sitting high on a hill. You can walk through its stone courtyards and see the intricate mirror rooms built by the Rajput kings.

Afterward, you will head back into the city to photograph the unique pink windows of the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and view the historical stone sundials at the Jantar Mantar observatory.
